Colored anodizing does not hide the minor imperfections and grain structure present in all forgings. They will have visible color variations speckles or smudges and small dents and dings that would not be seen on a black anodized piece. We do not consider these blemishes as they are natural to the forgings. Different pieces will have differing color and shade. They will not perfectly match. Buffer tubes generally run slightly darker than the receivers.

It's milspec. It's a buffer tube. But - it is in a lovely Cat Eye Bronze that really brings a nice subtle color accent to your build. Or helps complete a Cat Eye Bronze build. Or both. Get 2

Cat eye bronze buffer tube
Anodizing on provided buffer tube looked a bit thin and rough to me on one side with a couple of specks. Was not very happy with the product unfortunately and didn’t end up using it but it is decent quality I’m just very picky with this lower.

Fantastic fit and finish!
Got this cat-eye bronze reciever extension for my 50 shades of FDE build and it was a great choice! Asthetically its very nice, the color is unique and the anodizing is uniform throughout. Also there are no machining/tooling marks or uh-ohs. Feels and looks premium.
