RETRO LOWER
ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! HIGH QUALITY MACHINING AND FINISH. ONLY DRAWBACK IS, NOW I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO BUILD NEXT ON A BAD KITTY LOWER!
We engrave these lowers as close as we can get to the originals. The originals were roll marked which leaves a different appearance, but we work hard to reproduce the engravings as accurately as possible. These lowers are machined from modern 7075-T6 forgings and will not always accurately replicate the forging style of the original.
Note: We mill the lug pockets for the upper receiver at the very bottom of the specification. If your upper is at the top of the specification, you will have a snug fit. If it is out of spec on the high side, you may have to stone the sides of your upper receiver lugs to fit. This is a feature, not a bug.

Ordered the Hydra Matic lower for my MK12 clone. This lower is absolutely perfect! Engravings are nice and deep and looks dead on the original Hydra Matic receivers. I’ll definitely be buying more of their lowers for future builds.
Having been issued a GM Hydramatic in the Army, and having family members who worked for GM, this was a must have build for me. Love the markings and overall its a quality lower. BAD's discrete markings in the trigger well keep the GM aesthetic intact. The only ding I can give is the A2 profile on what would have been an A1 profile lower. Some guys are more OCD about that than me. I'd rather it be A1 but its still going to make for a great build that will end up pretty darn close to one of my issued rifles. The price was extremely reasonable too so that makes it easier too overlook the A2 profile.
